The portable Air Scrubber provides a variable CFM flow of outside air “scrubbed” as it passes through particulate and carbon filters. This removes debris and CO/ diesel exhaust from the surrounding air and creates safe air, free of diesel fumes inside the shelter or trailer. The Air Scrubber has a long power cord that plugs into one of the available exterior outlets on the rehab trailer. The supplied delivery duct is then attached to the outflow side of the Air Scrubber and enters the shelter through one of the two access panels located near the doorway on either side. When the Air Scrubber is on high CFM delivery, it will over-pressure the shelter slightly, helping to keep anything in the outside air from entering the shelter.
